Show with WEEKEND NACHOS

We have been given the opportunity to play with WEEKEND NACHOS at the end of March. With WN being one of my favorite and one of the best bands in this whole HC/PV thing, to simply say that I'm "stoked" or "looking forward to the show" is a huge understatement. Thank you to John from Weekend Nachos and the dudes at Crash the Clubs/SOS Booking for getting us on this show.  Check out the EVENT PAGE and come early to check us out since we are opening this one.

Split in the Works

We will be releasing a split tape with SIDETRACKED from Tacoma, WA. Not only am I a huge fan of this band, but they have done splits with some really awesome bands so we feel super fortunate that they are going to be doing this with us. Although the release will be short, (about two minutes a side) it is going to be fucking solid. I've already heard Sidetracked's side and it rules. Life of Refusal will be contributing three tracks to the split. They are about done being mixed and will be out to master very soon. These songs from us are fast and heavy. No other way to describe them, as cliche as it sounds. As much as I hate recording, I really do like our material on this upcoming release.

Not Dead, Just Not Very Good At Anything...

Greetings everyone,
A lot of news and a few things to go over about this band. As few of you might remember, LoR had a last show in 2012. Shit happens. Shit situations happen. I guess I should have made it out to be a hiatus rather than a full-fledged break up since I never had any intention of not writing for this band. Which is exactly what I have been doing.

Last Release/Current Line-Up
A tape was released last Spring entitled "Grieve". Six tracks recorded by myself. Shortly after the release, my good friend David, whom played bass in a band I drummed in, moved from San Francisco back to southern California to take over bass duties in LoR. He's been a huge help already and has been supportive of this band for a long time. So having him on board feels natural. Ebraheem and Gio will be reprising their roles on drums and guitar, respectively. It's nice jamming again with dudes you've known since high school. Grieve songs have never been played live and I'm really looking forward to doing just that.

As of the Late
We have our first show in almost two years lined up in a couple weeks. Saturday 03/15 we will be playing in Barstow, CA for the first time. It looks like it might be an awkward show for us to play but we are still looking forward to playing. Really stoked to be playing with Attributes from Santa Clarita. They just dropped an album so go check that out. We also have a Bigcartel store now, with a new shirt we just got in. Free stickers and pins with every order if we have them. We'll be doing one, maybe two more designs soon.

Yonder
2014 is promising to be a busy year for us. A lot of things in the works right now. We will be releasing a new 7'' EP on Mullet Death Records. Hopefully that will be out early June which is when we will going on a West Coast tour starting June 7th in Murrieta at The Dial and ending in Kamloops, BC, Canada for Trashin Fest on June 13th. Details for that will be posted as we finish booking it all but as of now, we will be hitting The Bay area, Seattle and Vancouver to name a few.

Until then, I bid you adieu...
